What it means

A binding's from, a construct's from or a template's field read walks past what the declared structures hold, such as a segment naming no field, or one following a native that holds its value in a single field.

What to do

Compare the path with the concepts' structures, using params.available_fields at the failing segment, and correct it, or bind the field first and walk on from the bound value.

Next steps

A problem carries the step aimed at whoever reads it: the first when its reader is the domain's actor, the method's author, and the second for any other reader.

Reader Kind Detail
The domain's actor change_method Correct the path '{path}' so that it names fields its concepts hold, then validate the method again.
Any other reader contact_owner Ask the method's owner to correct the path '{path}' in pipe '{pipe}'.

Detail

The problem's detail is written from this template, filled with the occurrence's parameters:

In pipe '{pipe}', the path '{path}' cannot follow '{segment}', which is not a field of the value before it.

Parameters

Every parameter is present on every occurrence of the code.

Name Type Description
pipe identifier The pipe holding the path.
path identifier The path.
segment identifier The segment the walk cannot follow.
available_fields list of identifier The fields the structure holds where the walk stops, empty when the walk stops at a leaf.
